registration, or using any related online service provided by the Old Skool Basketball Circuit ("OSBC,"
"we," "our," or "us"), you agree to these Terms of Use.
1. Website Use
PlayOldSkool.com is intended to provide information about OSBC events, registration, tournament
operations, schedules, brackets, results, media, sponsors, and related basketball activities. Users
agree to use the website lawfully, accurately, and respectfully.
2. Tournament Registration
Submitting a registration does not guarantee acceptance into a tournament. Registration may be
declined, placed on a waiting list, reassigned, or canceled because of event capacity, division
availability, eligibility concerns, incomplete information, missed deadlines, payment status, facility
limitations, or violation of OSBC policies.
3. Accuracy of Submitted Information
Coaches, parents, and team representatives are responsible for ensuring that all registration, roster,
eligibility, contact, waiver, and scheduling information is complete, accurate, and current. False,
misleading, or incomplete information may result in delayed approval, player ineligibility, forfeiture,
removal from an event, or denial of future participation.
4. Player Rosters and Eligibility
Only properly registered and eligible players may participate. OSBC may request documentation
relating to age, grade, identity, school enrollment, or other eligibility requirements.
Tournament-specific eligibility and roster rules form part of these Terms when posted or
communicated for an event.
5. Tournament Rules and Conduct
Participants, coaches, parents, and spectators must comply with the applicable Full Tournament
Rules, Code of Conduct, facility rules, safety requirements, and instructions from officials or
tournament staff. OSBC may remove or discipline any person or team whose conduct threatens
safety, sportsmanship, event operations, or the experience of other participants.
6. Payments, Refunds, and Cancellations
Entry fees, deposits, admission charges, refund rules, credits, and cancellation policies may vary by
event. The policy posted for the applicable tournament controls. Processing fees charged by a
payment provider may be nonrefundable. OSBC may modify schedules, venues, divisions, formats,
or event details when reasonably necessary.
7. Media and Publicity
OSBC events may be photographed, livestreamed, recorded, or otherwise covered by media.
Participation may be subject to a separate waiver or media authorization completed during
registration or check-in. Website visitors may not copy, download, rebroadcast, or commercially use
OSBC media except with written permission.
8. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise noted, all content on PlayOldSkool.com - including logos, names, graphics,
tournament branding, text, photographs, videos, schedules, layouts, and promotional materials - is
owned by or licensed to OSBC. Content may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, sold,
or used commercially without prior written permission.
9. Third-Party Services and Links
The website may link to registration platforms, payment processors, video services, social media,
hotel providers, venues, sponsors, or other third parties. OSBC does not control and is not
responsible for third-party websites, services, terms, availability, security, or content.
10. Assumption of Risk
Participation in basketball and youth athletic events involves inherent risks, including physical injury,
illness, property loss, travel-related risks, and risks associated with spectators and facilities.
Participants and responsible adults acknowledge these risks and are responsible for determining
whether participation is appropriate.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, OSBC, PlayOldSkool.com, tournament directors, staff, officials,
volunteers, sponsors, service providers, and host facilities will not be liable for indirect, incidental,
special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the website or participation in an
event. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Website Availability and Accuracy
OSBC works to keep website information accurate and available but does not guarantee
uninterrupted access, error-free content, or immediate updates. Schedules, locations, brackets,
rules, pricing, and other information may change. Users are responsible for reviewing current event
communications.
13. Changes to These Terms
OSBC may revise these Terms of Use at any time. Revised Terms become effective when posted on
PlayOldSkool.com with an updated revision date. Continued use of the website after changes are
posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law
principles, except where another law must apply.
